Model Year 22/23 Weird DSG behaviour when slowing down

Anyone experiencing anything similar?

My VZ1 petrol DSG does a bit of clunking/shuddering when slowing to a stop.

I’ve noticed when slowing down to under 15mph, the revs drop to idle, then it clunks/shudders when stopping. Like it doesn’t know what gear or holds onto it too long.

It’s not ECO, but to exaggerate the quirk, I can flick between 1st and 2nd gear manually when dropping under 15mph and it feels like the DSG doesn’t engage the clutch.
It’ll only engage when stopped or pressing the accelerator.

It’s probably just some weird quirk, but it’s such a smooth drive every other time.

Hello
How many kilometers has your car?
My old car Volkswagen Polo started doing that after 75k kilometers

35k, I did have a DSG issue at 15k covered under warranty.
Had an oil leak that then lead to a new mechatronics unit.
Generally, this problem is caused by the K1 and K2 gears in DSG transmissions. It was the same in my car.

It is interesting that the mechatronics were changed at 15k kilometers. I think your transmission may be faulty production
