...but I haven't been on here for a very long time!
May as well say hello as a newbie seeing as most current active members won't remember me. Hopefully Syphon and ZBOYD do
Anyway, I'm an ex-SEAT owner who is considering a return to the fold with the release of the Mk3 Cupra 280. I've been bored silly with all new sporty cars over the past five years or so, none of them have floated my boat like my original Mk1 LCR did back in 2003. I'm afraid I absolutely detested the styling of the Mk2 Leon so never bothered to look at those, but with the Mk3 Leon SEAT seem to have got back on track again (excuse the pun). I've only had two cars since I sold the LCR, both diesel Mondeos. The first a Mk3 Mondeo ST TDCi and in 2012 (preparing for the birth of my son) I bought a Mk4 Mondeo Titanium X Sport 2.2 TDCi estate. Nice cars both, but no hot hatch! I also have a Mk1 Lotus Elise which I've had for many years, it's my weekend toy but has basically become a driveway ornament since the baby came along...
Now my son is 15 months old I'm shortly not going to need an estate the size of an oil tanker to carry prams and travel cots around in so I'm considering having a sporty (but still practical) 5-door hatch again.
See you around!
Graham
