what grade oil do i use with gt28

hi guys ive been using 10w40 and 5w40 with hybrid ect, just wanted to no what oil people are using with there bt setups ect, also are you using oil restriction for turbo oil feed just want to clear a few things up before all goes together.

either will do, as long as its fully synthetic.. dependant on your engine temps i'd go for 5w40 for winter starts etc

10w50 Silkolene Pro S for me. Shear stable and does the job nicely.

Using this stuff myself and cant knock it at all. top top oil!

On my s13 when people upgrade t28's to t28 ballbearing models they put a restrictor in the oil feed
hole but I'm not sure with 20VT's what people do.

Is it just a GT28 or and GT28R?

Restrictor on all ball bearing turbos is needed. 1mm max.
