I'm looking to buy a set of poly bushes for the LCR, and I need to specify the ARB diameter since there is no dedicated set for the Cupra R:
19mm
20mm
21mm
23mm

does anyone know which is correct for the mk1 LCR?

Thanks for the quick replies!

Willie you made it sound as if it's relatively easy, something I can do on my own?

I tried recently and gave up. Looks a right pain in the arse unless you drop the subframe as its a very tight location and squeezed together really tight. I found mine had loads of flaking paint making them more like 16-17mm so i left it and im replacing the arb itself and bushes later on in the year.

you can do it with out dropping sub frame bit tight but poss .when you get one side off check your arb if it is the old one like mine was they have a plastic sleave on them and it rusts under it and the arb moves around i had to get the new updated one from dealer 80 pound and fitting is not that hard if you can do a bit of spanner work

is the front arb a noticable difference? i was thinking of geting a rear 23mm arb with a front strut brace. will i notice a whole lot more if i get the R32 arb? or will i be fine with my proposed set up?

cheers!

I have front and rear strut braces and 23mm FARB and 24mm RARB (adjustable and set on 'hard'), on standard suspension and it handles very well.

Strut braces do make a noticable difference....but no where near as much as ARB's.

Well all I have on my car is the R32 roll bar and i have noticed a considerable difference. I have recently removed my rear seats and parcelshelf to see if that makes much difference to performance/handling. Or am i wasting my time?

Did you notice much difference with the rear strut brace? I've just got the r32 roll bar and removed rear seats/parcelshelf. Would you do this?

Yes the rear brace made a difference but i think if you just go for a really thick RARB, like the Neuspeed 28mm, then you wont really need a rear strut brace.
