what tow eye bolt do ii need ?

I have a tow strap I wish to add to my car. But I have no idea what bolt I will need tread length or size. Please can someone shed some light on my problem.

there should be a screw in tow hook in your boot,

I dont wanna have a massive toe eye sticking out thought. I wanna bolt the strap on let it dangle and but the covr back on

the bolt would have to be reverse thread, take factory tow eye to engineering shop to machine into bolt.
