Ok so I slammed by beloved LCR yesterday on some AP Coilovers. I must add I'm over the moon with the difference they've made to the handling, yet they feel comfy and practical (a little bouncy maybe but a very fair compromise). I can feel exactly what the cars doing and wants to do where as before if i'm honest I didnt really trust her through corners as she felt very skitish and unbalanced, imo.

When we wound my coillies all the way down my mechanic/mate noticed on the front that the inside of the wheel just touches the spring, so for this reason we wound them back to until they stopped touching.

I have now decided to purchase some wheels spacers. Not so I can wind them back down as to be honest she's perfect at the height shes at. Its so if I hit a speed hump hard or I have a full car theres no chance the wheel and shock will make contact possibly causing damage to my AP's or the tyres..

My question for all of you wonderful people is, which ones should I go for and why?

I have made a search and have dragged up lots of valuable info, but times change so I want an up to date opinion.

I'm looking at these:

Has anyone had any bad experiences with cheaper spacers?

What am I actually paying for if I go for the more expensive ones?

Should I man up and go for the H&R's or as i'm only going for 5mm will cheaper hubcentrics be fine?

I want 5mm on all four corners.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
