Or other portable sat nav?

Im having difficulty positioning it where it doesnt get in the way of my vision on the road. Currently I have it up high beside the rear view mirror.. Though its still not ideal.

Are there extra holders you can buy?

in the centre just above the dash, doesnt restrict my view.

but then again probably depends how high up you sit in the car :)

I mount mine on the door glass, as far forward as it will go.

It's not blocking and forward view, and is not blocking the door mirror.

It's just getting the power cable over to it that's a bit of a pain.

Is the bracket easily removable I only use my tom tom once every other week or so and don't want the bracket there when not in use.

If you fix it according to the instructions then no. But personally I've not used the adhesive parts and only clicked it in at the top of the dash so it is easily removed if I need to.

Thats what im looking at buying. I want to mount it in this position below

Though the fitting instructions arn't very clear. They dont say if you actually have to screw into your dash.. I want to avoid as much permanent trace as possible, obviously for when the time comes to resale.

Thanks for any help

I have a tom tom 2 and have a sucker type flexi arm mounted from the small A window [drv o/s] this I find OK with minmum restrictive view.
