Does anyone know which years the Cupra 2.0 TSI engines had MPI, I’ve googled it but have not come up with anything concrete?

Thanks!

MY19 cars were built from Jul 18 onwards, and have the 7 Sp DSG; however, due to WLTP most didn’t arrive and start to be registered until Oct/Nov 18.

There is more info on this VW Golf R forum; the engine codes should be the same for the Cupra.

Ah OK, so my 18 plate (manufactured March 18) Cupra 300 ST with 6 speed DSG will have MPI ?
It should have. If you remove the plastic engine cover, a visual check should be able to confirm this; on page 2 of the discussion thread over on VWROC forum at the link posted by @black_sheep, there’s a picture of a DI and and MPI engine. If yours has MPI, it’ll have a port injector fuel rail, port injector loom connector and fuel pressure sensor.

Cheers, I’ll check it out. Thanks for the info

Popped the engine cover off this morning, you were right, it does have MPI ?
