i have the option of 6 miles of stop/start roundabouts (about 6 roundabouts with dual carriadgeway and traffic jams in between, so tons of braking, idling, shifting forward 6 feet at a time, and flooring it). this is 6 miles there 6 miles back
or 9 miles (9 there 9 back) of mostly motorway and 60mph cruising as my route to work.
any suggestions about which will be more fuel economic?
obviously the motorway will be better for the engine i guess (which is why I'm using it at the moment)
