Right, here's my dilema...
At the end of June I'll be selling my beloved 2001 Red Seat Ibiza 1.4s
It's not in the best of condition externally with a fair few stone chips, scrapes and rear bumper that doesn't fit properly!
Internally it's very clean and in good condition, but the engine warning light is always on even though this does not effect anything (been proven by garages with vagcom).
It has a (when new) £300 Remus back box exhaust, lowered by 35mm & has 15" fox racing alloys on it. It also has Sony speakers in the front and custom colour coded internal grab handles
Also has tax & mot till March 2010 & is currently at 84,000 miles & some service history (all from me as previous owner had nothing!)
With all that info above, how should I sell my car to get the most money from it? As I don't think people would buy the car with the cosmetic imperfections & that stupid engine light always on, and they wont believe "oh that's nothing".
Part ex?
Auction?
Ebay?
Autotrader?
Sell off bits from it?
All help & criticism much appreciated
Cheers.
