bit of a prob my Leon cupra as been playing up driving today i notice that the tc light kept flashing when changing from 1st to 2nd gear but no wheel spin or nothing like that keeps doing it for a bout 5 miles then all of a sudden the abs light comes on and the tc light is permanently on all the time now u guys had this before
is it a sensor or something more serious ?

point! squirt! hold on!
don't know about that but i have a similar problem, my TC light comes on and stays on, (not every time i drive, just the odd time) through the gears, when I'm stationary, on the motorway at 70MPH. it goes off when i turn the ignition off, it may not come on for a few days:shrug::shrug:

My TC light came on and stayed on, when i VAG COM'd, it was a 00778 - Steering Angle Sensor (G85)
003 - Mechanical Failure - Intermittent
The light just went out on its own about 2 hours late, and never came back on.

big lesson for everyone there. best to always check wiring and connections before replacing sensors. at least you have a spare sensor now;)

i spent a fair bit on various sensors only to find that the maf connector wasnt a good fit! 3.99 for dielectric grease and problem solved. maf and lamba sensors all shiney and sitting in the cupboard:doh:
