Windscreen wipers go crazy

Hi,

On my 99-02 ibiza the wipers turn on on their own, both at the same time (front and rear), and they also stop working on their own (after like 30 seconds). When the wipers have been moving on their own... the wiper switch was non-responsive, meaning, it was ignoring all the commands..
This happened twice in the past days. Where could be the problem?

Switch may have melted.

Change stick on column

It might be from a bad switch or a bad relay. The relay can be found above the fuse box below the steering wheel column. You can remove the wiper fuse if you want to fix it later.
