Hi all,
*
Would a boost leak throw up some fault codes?
*
Im only asking because my LCR is standard and for the first week you could tell the turbo kicked in around 2500 – 3000. Now it doesn’t have the same feel, just feels like a fast car which could / couldn’t be turbo. The turbo spooling up seems a lot louder and im sure something isn’t right. Ive taken friends out and they say it just because im getting use to the power, I don’t think you can ever get use to the kick?
*
Ive bought a fault code reader to hopefully find something wrong, but says no codes are stored.
*
Any help would be appreciated.

cheaper to get it boost leak tested save you changing bits that don't need changing

Thanks guys for the information. Found a thread about making a DIY boost leak test so think I will give that a try. May also just buy new boost pipes, the money I would pay for a garage to have a look, could be money towards the pipes. Also my luck with garage's isn't going that well.
