Yorkshire dealers?

Ok after looking at both models I have decided that I am defo having the FR in Mk1, who are the best dealers in the Yorks area? I am now looking at probably March before I buy as I am staring to have probs with my vec, stupid things but they are promting me to buy quicker than predicted...

I have heard a few bad things about the one in York, so are there any good dealers out and around the Yorks area?

There is Ricahrd Alexander SEAT in Huddersfield. I have heard some good reports about them.

Depends how far you want to travel. probably one closer to you though.

yep go see the guys over at hudds they are great guys and love the cars speak to az there and tell the guys off here said come and see you.

Nidd Vale at Harrogate but ive not used them either
Stay away from JCT in Bradford and Leeds

I always use Ted Johnsons in Barnsley-superb service

Nidd Vale in Harrogate are very good dealers, I bought my Seat from these guys and they have a very good service.

JCT I wouldn't use as they fleeced me on a service, Nidd Vale have been friendly but fairly inept at sorting my probs, let you know about Richard Alexander as it's going in today!

Bought mine from Ted Johnsons and I don't find them to be better than Autoworld in Sheffield where I bought my first Ibiza from, TJ's are dragging their heels getting the problems with my car sorted, it's been in 4 times now from new (3 months old) and still ain't sorted . But I spose different people find things they like about a certain dealer more than another.

Cannot be repeated often enough. I cannot believe how disorganised they are. (bought current car from them )

I work in York and have always used Wills and Ellis on the A 59 for servicing. They've always been fine. Seem to be average dealer rates and for me they are handy enough for work. Now that I live in Bradford I might look at Huddersfield if the offers for members make it worthwhile.

Just out of interest is there anyone good in East Yorkshire?

im in bradford and send it down to ted johnsons, but i also found a billiant VAG specialist at Skipton i use as well

He sure is, very friendly and willing to listen to you. And has called to keep me fully informed! I think I have found a new dealer.
