 | SEAT SEARCH FOR MORE WINS Fresh from scoring their first race wins of the season, Jason Plato and Darren Turner are optimistic about their changes at Thruxton, as they wheel out their Leon TDIs at the fastest circuit on the BTCC calendar. The improved straight-line speed of the diesel-engined Leon should suit the Hampshire track, although there is still the 130mph Church Corner and the high-kerbed chicane to negotiate, if the perfect lap is to be achieved. | |

 | Robert Lawson continued his fine form at Donington, clinching two convincing race wins. Carl Breeze meanwhile scored a 2nd place in Round 5 and a disappointing 4th place in Round 6, losing out to Martin Byford who dramatically passed both him and Andrew Herron on the final corner to take 2nd and allow Herron to have his first podium finish of the season with a 3rd. Byford also made the podium in Round 5 to keep the pressure on Breeze and keep him in contention for the title...but catching Herron will be a tough task for any of the championship challengers.

Robert Lawson keeps proving his form at the beginning of the season was no fluke, clinching two pole positions in record times, while behind him Breeze, Byford, Adam, Welch and Herron all swapped round the top six grid positions for the two races. The pace has been frantic and the times all incredibly close so race fans should be in for a treat on Sunday. | |
