Hi I hope everybody is doing well my cupra has decide to started some real strange behaviour at random times in random gears at random speeds under light or heavy driving I lose all drive when in gear for a few seconds the revs fly up under throttle and nothing then I let of and its fine again I was thinking dual mass 2 start with but that would be all the time wouldn't it or not anybody else had the same problem and know what it is please thanks the rest of the time it pulls like a train no slip obviously being an intermittent problem unless it does it on a test drive with a mechanic I'm a bit lost

I’m guessing it’s a DSG? When was it last serviced (the DSG box I mean) I would say that would be where the issue is anyway and get it checked sooner than later as them boxes are expensive to replace.
From looking at google this sounds like your issue, it’s intermittently shifting into neutral.
