Window trim removal

Which part do you mean? Is it part #2 in the diagram below?

It's not the trim arround the door, but the trim outside the door which protect the backwindow.

If its the rubber part between the window and the door. if you open the door you can pull the rubber part out of the holes its in. there's no screws no bolts or clips even. just pull it and apply a lot of pressure when fitting it back in.
