I chose to take the whole bumper off to make it easier to paint, only takes a few minutes to take off.
I was hoping the lower section came off but apparently not.

Awesome dude! That looks fantastic and gives me a couple of ideas since I have a silver Leon as well. Good job.

Cheers, I'm going to paint the roof high gloss black in the new year, front splitter to order this week and toying with the idea of a black front grill.

To be honest I find taking the front bumper off quite time consuming, although not very difficult. There are just too many screws (under the hood, wheel arches, and on the bottom of the car) and the ones on bottom are the most difficult for me since I don't have a garage and I have to lay on the asphalt (well not directly, but I put something and lay my back on it) and that's still pretty nasty.

I've been wanting to vinyl wrap the roof glossy black for a while now but I am searching for someone that can do it professionally because I don't want to waste my money on a useless wrapping job.

Painting is, of course, the most efficient and professional but then again over in Egypt it really decreases resale value and I am not sure if it's legal actually.

Suppose ill find out soon enough myself how difficult it is to remove the front bumper when I get round to fitting a new IC. I've done few more mods recently will put some new pictures up soon.

Good job is Your hand made intake.
What brand of conoc filter did you choose?

Thanks
I used a K&N filter which my brother bought for his focus st that he never used, was still in its wrapper! Silicone pipes and alloy bends was bought from a company in Wakefield.
