Air Con / Fan

Nope, like not being able to switch the headlights off or stop recirculating the same air, it's just another stupid decision Seat made for the human interface in these cars.
When in the clima menu, you have a "button" "AC". You can press that button the AC shuts down, but the fans keep blowing.
Not on mine I can't, my choices for headlights are auto (so switches on around 3pm in summer) or on - no option for manual or off.
Recirculation again the choice is either on or automatic, in which case it seems to be recirculating all the time - even in the countryside with no pollutants around.
Well you learn something new every day - I though that button did the same as the Aircon button on the main screen, but it does turn just the compressor off while leaving the fans blowing.
It's still a shame you've got to hit two icons to find it, on my MK3 there was a physical button for the AC compressor.

Just wish you didn't need to go into the settings to turn on temperature sync EVERY time you start the car, or not need to do 8 button presses to turn on the speed limiter (and reset your speedo view back to where you were before) where in a normal car it would be two.I'm convinced mine is trying to kill me.... It's utterly stupid. The widget say "Air Conditioning" with an on/off toggle but all this does is switch the fans on or off. To actually turn the A/C on or off you can to double click the widget then press the A/C. Absurd.
Then if you're on a different full screen, Android Auto for example then to change the fan speed you're faffing about all over trying to get back to the right screen. Bearing in mind the steering wheel has a volume control it would be far better for the infotainment volume slider to operate the fan speed instead.
Mine reboots all the time, the whole thing is buggy and badly designed. Tiny buttons to hang up calls for example ffs, I'm trying to drive a car not be super accurate with my presses.

If you are on another screen and you have AUTO selected for the Clima then you can increase the fan speed by tapping the auto icon, the three little dots next to it indicate the speed - it's not much help and the design of the car is trying to kill you, by taking your eyes off the road for so long.
Even just today, my daughter in the back says she can't switch on the rear fans. I open the widget expecting to see it locked out but instead it's all greyed out and I can't switch the rear on or off. I can't work out why it's greyed out. It's an absolutely garbage system.
I've seen a lot of replies (RE the bugginess) that the new update of 1940 (I think it's that) eradicates the rebooting issues/ glitches. Maybe it's worth contacting your local dealer to see if they have the update ?
Yeah I get that. You need to press Sync to get all the zones syncing to the same temp and then you should be able to readjust the rear to whatever you want.

There's some good stuff here and news to me! I'm used to using controls that are simple and straightforward not having to park up for ten minutes while I work out how to perform a (what should be) a simple adjustment.
Whilst on the subject 'simplicity', how on God's Earth do you find anything in the online manual? Nearly 400 pages of telling you what can be done, warnings about 'dangerous' stuff, etc all largely irrelevant! All I want is a concise index, subject headings and clear instructions on HOW to do them! An 'Idiot's Guide' if you will......or is it just me?

Nope, is not just you. This current generation of VAG platform infotainment choices has produced huge backlash from every Skoda, Audi, VW and Seat driver - culminating in the CEO of VW software and several top executives being replaced and the entire future of the division in question.
It's clear, when the software requires you to take your eyes off the road to make 'comfort' changes, that somebody has f****d it up badly.

Definitely designed by committee, implemented without proper QA, and not a single person on the entire team who actually drives their own products.
