Hi, would member mind posting pictures of the following wheels please.

Also help with wheel weights appreciated as trying to see also best wheel to remove unsprung weight.

LCR 18 in black
FR 17 in black
Pro race 1.2s on a Leon
Oz suppelegeras on a Leon
Xxr 527s on a Leon

Any info on alloy weight without tyres appreciated. I have LCR 18s at the moment but one is badly kerbed and the 5th is buckled.

I do like the look of the FRs from pd150 FRs but never found pictures of them in black.

I have a chance to buy on the weekend 5x100/112 xxr 527s in gloss black but I just found out they're stretch alloys and not liking the idea of 8.5j tyres to not have the stretch look.

Pro race 1.2s and the superleggaras are my other option in 17s and light enough also. Just not too sure what they look like on the leon.

Cheers

The best one is prorace if your main goal is unsprung weight. I have never found a wheel lighter then those.

Thanks.

Was thinking the 1.2s are they strong?
I've been running 18" gloss black 1.2 proraces for a few years. The roads are ******* terrible around here and I've hit potholes big enough to damage tyres without breaking a rim. I will take a couple of pics for you later.

Thanks. Picked up some scooby 17 inch 1.2s this weekend so will get the track tyres off, paint black and stick rubber on

Just to decide whether to fix a buckled LCR Rim, maybe 2 and have the kerbed damaged one cleaner and refurbed to keep now.

The guy with the xxr 527 bailed on me so now I just have the 1.2s and the lcrs. Black for both haha

18x9.75 et 35 ? If thats the offset, would you think they clear the brembo calipers without the spacers? Im looking for some xxr s but i dont want to go that wide , prolly 8, 8.5 tops just so i can run 235 at the front

This was when i had the wheels refurbished in 2013 and got the darkest caps colour from seat pics don't give them justice but will do, i forget the colour now but its darker than the silver i wanted anchorite but that's near black, had same issue on swapping wheels but i liked the fr design also at the time cupra fr 17" were hard to find as they were the ones i wanted but big money at the time, the old caps I've still got and you can paint the centres easy if you find a used set on ebay as the centres lacquer comes off due to acid wheel cleaner in them car wash garages

easy to clean unlike some only issue you get water holding were the valves are and that raises the paint causing rusting , mine are doing it even after refurbish
