Big problems Ibiza cupra

right guys something happened to my car last nyt whilst driving it home!! and i dont know what it is!!

these are the symtoms

engine management light came on

no power at all strugled to set off whilst being extreemly lumpy

sounds horrible like a subaru burbble

any help would be much appreciated

a lumpy subaru burble? running on 3 cylinders possibly?

blown an intercooler hose off?

get checking the hoses from the turbo, take the cover off top of engine and should be easy enough to see the top hoses.

then jack the car up and check the hoses at the bottom of the car attached to the intercooler

cheers will have to check that! when putting the powerdown it shudders realy badly

Coil Pack most likely if its running on 3 cylinders

Yep!!! Sounds like a coil pack has gone....

yep my dad says it sounds like its running on three! what are the part numbers for a coil pack and how much do they cost??

seat might change them for free mate if your lucky there kinda on a recall but only if they break

Call your local dealer, if your lucky they may replace it for free. If not get one off ebay and change it yourslef (2min job, just plugs in).

they are only about 21 quid from the dealers (buy a spare because if one old one can go......)
