Bluetooth ( will it be there)

When I went to look at my 1.4tsi sport the salesman was adamant that the car in the showroom ( The one I bought ) had bluetooth already fitted ( and the price reflected this).
I told him I did not really want it as I don't really use/need a mobile ( in fact I hate phones )

When i finally decided to do the deal and called him he said he'd made a mistake and that blue tooth was not fitted so the new price would reflect that. He'd also by this time agreed to fit mats a flaps in with the new price ( which I'd been badgering him for from day one):D

So tonight i see that the aux port and the usb port ( in the front of the centre console) On the sport is an option on 2010 facelift model i have (I believe ).

this got me thinking if the usb and aux ports are there then perhaps the bluetooth IS there as he originally said?? Is this possible and how would I know/find out.

Thanks in advance folks

I have steering wheel controls which on the lefthand side of the wheel have a phone symbol yes.

Mmm just read another post which said the ign needs to be on to pair them. I'll need to try that tomorrow

bluetooth is so much more than the phone connection , larger screen and you can change settings there unlike the smaller dispaly with out the bluetooth.

Near Reevo :)
easy way to tell .. if the fuel gage and water temp gauge are spilt by a big lcd screen - then you have bluetooth :)

If the gauges are next to each other and there is a small lcd screen underneath them then you don't have bluetooth :(
