complete loss of electric to the car??

I own a seat leon cupra k1.

I have owned it for a bout a week and only encountered this problem recently.
I will start the car, and as I turn the key to the turn the engine over I lose everything. all power.
The power returns bout 20 - 30 secs later and the clock is reset.

This has happened 3 times now and there is no consistency to the fault.
It is not the case the car has been left for a while as once was literally 5 mins after I had just had the car running. tried to restart it and everything died.

PLease help as I love this car and this is really depressing. It is under warrenty but I would rather know what actually is goin on!

Dodgy earthing strap? Best bet get it to a stealers and get them to check it out

i looked further into the fault. and found that the clamp connecting to neutral was a bit dodgey. and the dealer had left it only finger tight. a new clamp and a secure fit has seemed to solve the problem.

will update if problem continues. thanks for helps tho!

same problem i had with my old ibiza. A loose terminal on battery cause all electric to go out when starting and once when breaking to turn into a junction.
