What's the ride like? Less harsh?
Looks good mate! How are you finding the leon to drive compared to the type r?
Did you get it remapped at the same time or just dpf gutted and software removed? Yeah turbo can be heard a lot more with it gone. Mine is much louder than it was prior to having the dpf done.
This car is looking absolutely stunning mate
I'm thinking about the facelift climate control unit as well. How do you change the lights on the inside? Is it something simple? Also, is it a straight swap? Plug and play?
Crazy not to have mapped it when getting DPF out could have gained mpg so makes sense
Cheers pal. The climate control unit is a straight swap, easy job, although you have to swap two wires around in order to get it to store memory i.e remembering what settings you left it on when you switched the car off. For example I havent done this and every time I turn my car off, no matter what temp etc I had it on it will reset back to 20 degrees. I don't find it that much of a problem tbh and you just get used to it eventually. Another thing to note is how dim the lights are. Can't really see them in the day, that's my main issue with it.
A guide on how to do it all can be found here, the 9th post down:

As for the lights, I'm assuming you mean the colour change? From red to white? If so I have a mate who does it as a business although if you're able to solder it's pretty easy to do.
Not much different from standard tbh, just a lot better in corners.
EDIT: After driving on the springs for a couple of weeks now the ride does actually feel a lot smoother than on stock springs. Can still feel every bump but it's not as harsh.
fair point' I have a mint FL stereo if you interestedI wasn't sure if it would increase the MPG or not plus money is tight at the moment so I couldn't really afford the added cost of it and the insurance :/ . But I'm happy with it as is so its all fine and good
Ahhh, I might have to copy you with the white lights then, I have a friend at work who can do some soldering for me thanks for the info!
Have you had any problems being too low on changes in elevation? Going on a hill or driveway or anything?
Looking at putting some H&Rs on mine but i live in a hilly area and I have a splitter, so not sure if I'll have to constantly take different routes to avoid bottoming out the car
