Hi, I have a 2010 MK 2 Leon FR which has been sitting on the drive for a few weeks unused. I've come to open the car with the remote fob but the battery is flat. So I tried to open the mechanical lock on the drivers door but this appears to be either rusted shut or the barrel has been changed over the life of the car. Does anyone know if there is a live connection anywhere in the lower part of the engine that I can hook the battery charger up to to charge the battery? I'd rather not get an auto locksmith in or try to access the bonnet release and risk damaging something. TIA
