Rob, could you refitt you old filter box and try (I cant seem to find mine, think my ex girlfriend stole it:) shouldnt take long thou.

If I can find it Prebs I'll have a go, it's buried in my shed somewhere! Maybe next weekend now, other thing I was going to try was to re-fit the standard Bosch DV and see how that works... Something to cross off anyway!

I get this on mine since fitting my k03s turbo

Normally its the usual tsssh from my 007p

But if i open it up and take it high up the rev range i get flutter noise with it

I ignored it as thought if it was a problem it would chatter/flutter all the time?

Dan, did it do it before you fitted an open filter? We are wondering if this noise is in fact normal...

I first noticed the fluttering sound when I was running the dynatwist enclosed air filter(green filter) and had problem with g/s readings from my maf witch was to low. I then removed the "bucket" so the filter was fully open, thats when I first heard this sound. I also got higher g/s readings but still to low so changed maf and it was sorted. Turns out the oil from the filter had started to make the maf read uncorrectly. Bought a AEM dryflow (dk2029) filter and had the flutter sound ever since!!!

Maybe we are worrying for something that´s close to normal???

Wont make any diffrence Im affraid, both me and Rob have tried this and loads of other stuff incl re.fitting N249/N112. Never got to the bottom of this Im afraid.

Thought I'd ressurect this thread, I still have this fluttering thing going on! The next thing I’m going to try is moving the DV to the coldside I think, but have notice a supersize DV on the Forge site - Has anyone every used a Forge supersize DV to fix this issue?

Dan - I have 007p with yellow spring, it is been in standard position and reversed (currently reversed) - I have no by-passes in place, but all vac lines are 4mm internal diameter silicone pipes.

I´ve gone down the Hybrid route, still fluttering same as with k03s. Forge 007 with yellow spring.

My hybrid map isnt working as it´s supposed to tho but still small fluttering.

Hey Prebs, still trying to sort this one! Remind me, is your DV on the hot or cold side?

Hot side, also freshly serviced with new seals, oil and yellow spring, still the same. Also pressure tested the DV, everythings normal.... except the fluttering:)

Hmmm, same here. So I'm going to get a coldside relocation kit and see what happens. Not been done yet! If that doesn't work, then I'll try a supersize dv. Then I give up!!
