Grinding from 4th to 5th

Quick one people. Just got a mk3 cupra 280 DSG and when coasting (foot off the accelerator) and the car changes itself from 4th to 5th it makes a grinding noise. Any ideas what this could be. This is the only gear it makes it in and the car performs fine other than that and you don't hear it when on the accelerator just when the car up shifts when coasting. Many thanks

When was the transmission oil last changed?

OK, cool. The next thing to do is to find a VAG independent garage and have them plug in their diagnostic tool, that will produce an error report and give an indication of what's not happy.
