im pretty sure, as i enquired at AP racing for a friend of mine (chriscupraR) who has now sold his cupra. he wanted a stage 3 clutch from AP as he was going for a GT35RS turbo on his and was looking for roughly 500 bhp.

Will double check on my works website now for you though chap.

So, although it is listed for a different engine code, by the looks of things it has the same gearbox possibly. That second bit of information was going from the information of the vehicles listed for the standard clutch matey.

Hope this helps.

if it was easy then we'd all be fitting them in a couple of hours.

it's not hard to do - just fiddly

Ask yourself this... what's the hardest thing you've done on a car?

me: engine out, gearbox swap, clutch swap

it's a tad more complicated than brake pads etc

however I would try bigboystoys - as they have sensible quotes for fitting.

maybe you'll be ok.....

still I would suggest a 2nd car for the time your car will be off the road

I didn't say it had to be a nice car.... couple of hundred quid will buy you something driveable

and that you'll probably sell for the same when the work is complete
