Nice to know more people have the same issue. What you explain Cupra K1 Revo 2 is the exact same issue i had!
If you want to save money you should go with the REVO update.
But you should ask yourself if you really believe in the quality of REVO products when they can not get it right from the start!
I am not saying the new update will not sort things out and that it will not perform 100% but i have lost trust in REVO products and my impression of APR is far better.

This is taking POPOVs thread way off mate.

You the owner can program the SPS settings to whatever you want on the three performance modes. So until its plugged into a laptop who knows what your running currently.

By the way, i have had a reply from REVO now on my mail that i forwarded claiming a compensation/refund.
They are not really having the same view as me, sadly it seems as i will have to proceed with this to ECC-net .
