hissing, chattery noise on throttle

guys, ive developed a hisshing chattery type noise in first and second on full throttle, definatly wasny there before, any ideas,, i know description is vague but help appreciated.

Boost leak, Fooked DV?
Have you checked any bits to see if there is anything obvious?

cant see anything obvious... just done n249 bypass, any links or coincedence

Could be worth un doing the bypass and trying it, will only take a few mins....and you did say car sometimes felt a bit 'stuttery' with it bypassed?

that seems to have gone now, it holds back slightly then goes if you know what i mean?

the bypass has been done 4 days, and no problems within thsat time


also looked under bonnet when i stopped, heard like a crackling noise, almost like a fire crackle... slight burny smell, not much... no idea if this is normal...never noticed before
