How much oil to add

Afternoon All

Driving to work this morning and my oil warning light came on.

Roughly how much oil will I need to add to take it back to a safe/required amount.

I know should have been checking it !!!!!!!!!

Oh it's a leon Cupra Tdi 150 pd

When it shows full on the dip stick...I reckon it will take around a litre.

What mileage are you on ? I ask because I've heard quite a few use lots of oil before the first service.

Just add a small amount and come back a few minutes later and check with the dipstick. I like having the oil level sit about midway on the dipstick
