Info on interior colours

Hi all

I have recently obtained an A pillar pod for my LCR but it is in the LC gray colour.

Has anyone resprayed interior parts to black? Any idea what paint etc to use and where to get it from? Obviously I need black but is there any specific paint that will do the job any guides available?

Any advice would be great thanks.

Yes, there are specific paints for dash repair but I don't think you have to use them, just don't use cellulose. It's also advisable to use an adhesion promoter before the paint otherwise it might start to flake off after a while.

If you need it there's also a way to duplicate the original texture of your interior but for the cost of the kit it's probably cheaper to pay a smart repair specialist to do it.

Cheers for the info guys I could do with keeping the standard look interior finish but it is not integral to the finish would be a nice to have...

How much would a professional trimer charge me do you reckon and are there any round the Sheffield area that are any good?

Thanks for the reply Gaz... I have been in contact with Robdon and he has told me I need to use Plastico paints from homebase and the satin black has a good match so fingers crossed I can do it myself...

I'll let you know how I get on.
