Hi everyone,

I have an issue with my Seat Leon 1.6 tdi 2015 I brought about 6 months ago the day brought it I drove back on the motor way soon as I hit 70mph the glow plug light started flashing yellow. And had loss of power. Got home and didn’t drive it again til the next morning when I started it everything was fine. So thought maybe its Been parked up a while n that’s why. Anyway didn’t go on motorway again for another 2 months when I did it came on again got to my destination. Only Restarted it again after 3/4 hours and it was fine on the drive home. So left it. Then did a few more journeys over 70mph and nothing so thought it’s all ok. But it happened again on motorway and when I switched engine off at a roundabout and restarted it hoping it would be ok the engine management light come on straight away. But had no loss of power but it does seem to use a lot more fuel since the lights been on.
I Had a friend put his OBD2 on it and it came back with o2 sensor fault on the dates the glow plug was flashing! Anyone know how big of a job that is please or any advice of best way to get it rectified would be very grateful. Is main dealer best route to go down or any back street garage will be ok ?? Also I can not find any evidence to say the timing belt has been changed in the service records and the car is on 103k now do I have to get it done or can I run it a while longer ??
Apologies for the long winded post guys/gals. And thank u for taking the time to read it. I have attached the fault codes if anyone knows how to interpret them would be great help thanks again.
