Hello every1,

Right long story short, my car goes into limp mode in 5th gear...50/60mph...foot down...5-10 seconds later boosts drops to 5psi, turn car off then back on it boost fine again. N75? what should i be expecting to see at full boost with my spec? only just touches 20/21psi from low revs or climbing up a hill in 5th...., plugged into vagcom and brought this up....

I had the eeprom error come up ages ago - cleared it and never came back - I believe one or two others had it aswell and dont remember anything coming back after they cleared it -

I had 17965 (positive deviation) and believe the solutions to be the same -

mine turned out to be a damaged hose which i only found by replacing all vac hoses -

It came up again, then it was the MAF sensor

mine was going to lipmp mode in all gears appose to just 5th

Have a look here

Cheers sharky, will have a look at hoses tomorrow, does any1 boost 18psi max in 2nd 3rd and 4th gears?

will be difficult to find a split hose - you might want to buy a yard of hosing (not expensive) and replace them - cheapest options, makes your engine bay look abit better and rules that out -

Anyone else got any suggestions on this? Had the new N75, New MAF.......still goes in limp in 5th....could it be a boost leak somewhere or is there somthing else it could be? Cheers

I'd go talk to whoever remapped your car about that eeprom error 1st

That fault doesn't come back now after i cleared it..... just the

17964 - Charge Pressure Control: Negative Deviation

keeps coming back when it hits limp in 5th.

Do you think i should see them anyway?

Yep as Jimski says above....

In the end they put a 4 bar reg on and tweeked the map (as before my car only peaked 18psi in 5th then dropped of quickly.....now peaks 24psi and holds 20psi)

But have you tried a N75 yet?
