Thats sucks matey :( Never a good time for this sorta thing to happen, but @ X-mas its shocking. Is there any paint damage? Might be able to get it 'popped' back into shape is so, and then wont be 'too' costly

I wouldnt worrie about it too much, and try and have a good X-mas!

Only a few scratches but the dent seems a bit too close to the crease on the wing so dont gthink it will pop out. Know a good garage thats a family friend so may take it to him when hes a bit quiter work wise. Might use it as an excuse to get the rub strips painted........... every cloud and that

Fook sake mate - Nae luck[:@]

Any idea's who may have caused it?

Is this going to affect the quality of my Christmas breakfast?:ban:

It's a pisser when idiots do something like this and then fook off leaving people like us to foot the bill. Let me know if you get a quote for getting the rubbing strips done, I fancy getting this done aswell.

4:4:2 anyone?

Yes you are doing the 4:4:2 tomorrow and no wont affect the breakfast although its now £50 a head.............. My suspiciouns are a taxi or something turning in the street as everyone who lives here know what me and the missus do for a living and how much I take care of my car. Going to do a bit of door to door though.

Something similar happend to me not to long ago. Big swipe next to the rear arch on the plastic bumper. Hell of a mess. Oddly i didn't get angry, just felt a kind of resigned depression hit me, think that means it's time to change the car, once i get the damage fixed.

But yes, people who do this are either assholes or incompetent blundering idiots who shouldn't be driving anyway.

Bit soon to change the car unfortunately as it was brand new in June. Same thing happened to the missus' tigra las year only a bit worse.......... so she treated herself to a clio 182.

You sure its not a foot that has caused it or somthing else?

Very little paint damage from what I can see

Still crap though... looks like a few SEATs are taking a battering this week by the number of threads there are!

No defo a car theres a cross pattern on scratches on the wing and no foot prints. Think maybe a plastic bumper as no transfer of paint.

Agree'd if I ever hit another parked car, or damaged another car I would never just drive off, but as im so into keeping nice cars, thats probs why, to some people, they are just a means to a end, and not a prize :(

Hope its not to costly, and as you said means you can mod the car (I always used to do that when something whent wrong)

I know what you mean mate - today some Pr1ck in a Zafira decided he owned my side of the road as well as his and forced me into a kerb, I got out checked the damage, cursed him for being a to55er who can't drive then started trying to think of all the refurb places I can go for a quote. I'm not angry, I'm annoyed, but these things happen and you've just got to get on with it - must be mellowing in my old age:)

Thanks very much for all the sympathy. In my line of work I learned very quickly that sh!t happens, get mad for a bit and then get on with it thats what I say. Probably get it fixed in a month or two.
