Hi, thought it was about time i started a little project thread on the mk1 leon cupra r that i bought 5 months ago.
i bought this car after having owned a few 2.0 french hatches (clio172cup/clio182/206gti180). I fancied something with more power, so it had to be something turbo, i've always loved the look of the mk1 lcr and it seemed like the best value for money..
my search led me to this car, i hadn't set out to get a yellow one due to issues i had read about with paint fade, however this one had been recently resprayed before i bought it and it looked brilliant!
i would post some pictures but apparently i dont have enough posts yet...
when i bought the car it already had,
since owning the car i have done/had done
still loads left that i want done, but next on the to do list is replace the thermostat as its playing up...
I will keep this thread up dated and will add photos as soon as im able to.

- open cone filter
- front mount intercooler
- turbo back exhaust with decat
- forge 007p dv
- remap, brand/mapper unknown....
since owning the car i have done/had done
- rocker cover gasket replaced
- seat main dealer service
- 007p serviced and fitted uprated yellow spring
- wish bones poly bushed
- prosport coilovers fitted, with new droplinks and top mounts
- hubcentric wheel spacers fitted, 15mm front and 20mm rear
- alloys refurbished and powdercoated gloss black
- goodyear eagle f1 assy2's fitted on front
- 4 wheel laser alignment
- new groved front discs with ferodo ds2500 pads
- relaquered brembo calipers
- fitted sfs 80mm tip
- bypassed n249
still loads left that i want done, but next on the to do list is replace the thermostat as its playing up...
