Hi to all!

Do any of you have rattling experience with the Hybrid Leon Sportstourer version?
Version of the car is Hybrid, FR , with sport suspension.

My car rattles and cracks almost all the time , driving me nuts , when i go over rough/uneven surface/speedbumps, etc.
The cracking sounds come from the rear of the car and I attribute them to:
  1. the rear (cheap) plastics of the boot cover - both the boot luggage roller cover (or parcel shelf) and the plastics surrounding it
  2. plastic parts and bits on the C pillar
  3. plastics in the trunk itself
  4. rear seats (both sitting parts and the back supports)
I know seat have cut costs whenever possible with this car, but the quality really starts to dissapoint me, and the car is less than 10 000km/6 months in.

The noises were less prominent in the summer when the car was delivered but as the weather got worse, and the pastics hardened, it really went bad.
I tried isolating the parcel shelf ends (where it hinges to the car) with soft pads, tried putting soft pads on the rear seats hinges ...but noises are still there.

I noticed a noise from the rear of my car on my 1st drive. After trying various things I narrowed it down to the rubber hatch stops. I twisted both anticlockwise and rattle disappeared! Huge relief as I hate rattles.

Yes. The small round rubber stop. I also, temporarily put a thin piece of material over the boot lock in case it was that. Never heard it since luckily.
Other things to try. Empty underfloor of boot and fold rear seat backrests down.
Rattles can be very hard to trace!
Good luck.

I had the same issue with my car after the dealer replaced the third brake light due to an internal crack. I thought to myself they didn't put some plastics clip on properly. But after adjusting both sides rattle sound is gone. I've done an adjustment with a piece of cardboard to see how much pressure will be generated after adjustment
