Im not receiving an email notification for new posts in my readers ride thread.
It comes up in my subscriptions in the control panel but no email.
Any ideas?

Have you got the option for the notifications by email selected?
If you dont no how to check heres how:
1. go to quick links
2. go down to the messaging & notification section
3. go to the part with the title "Default Thread Subscription Mode" (in blue writing)
4. in the bottom right corner of that box theres a drop down box.
5. check which setting you have it on as there are several.
6. problem solved
If its not that then i dont know and admin/moderator will know

Thanks for that mate, but I've just checked and all the appropriate boxes are ticked!
It's only the one thread that I don't get the emails for. I used to get a notification for it but I don't anymore! Strange!

Have you visitied that thread recently, you will only get a set number of notifications, after that if you havn't been to that thread you wont get any more.
Perhaps you've unsubscribed from the thread.

Your registered email address is a hotmail account, just make sure we've not suddenly been listed in the spam/junk area instead There appears to be no issues at this end though.

Yes, emails for all other threads working. And it has been doing it for quite a while now, ive only just got round to posting about it though.

I've cleared the tags off the thread - loads of tags often cause this error.
