Portable diagnostic and service light gadgets??

Hi all just been browsing on ebay and came across these portable machines just wondering if anyone has tryed them out before as they would save a fortune on garage bills? There on ebay if yous wanna check them out!

Theres this new thing called VAGCOM a few of the guys have experemented with on the forum.
Got it myself but i don't know what all the fuss is about. LOL!

Only kidding mate, the cheap ones are good for Diagnostics but don't think you can do a lot with them.
Ross-Tech one is what i've got and its fantastic for all aspects of diagnostics and editing.

I have a cheap fault code reader an "eLaunch" its good to read codes and reset engine check lights, airbag light etc but other than that its just a toy! But only a £10 a couple of years ago a car show. So good for what it does but VAGCOM loads better!
