TT comps are now all polished up, i just need to decide on the colour between the spokes or just lacquer them for protection.

once i bust my eye open i had to put the car back together so my dad take me to hospital.
stitches in got home so finished changing the shocks and yay done.

i dont think your be able to lacquer the polished parts as it probably wont stick for long.

they came lacquered but thats what i thought so dont understand really? these are just going to be summer wheels so just wanted to protect the areas i cant get to with my meguiars metal polish.

alot lol had no choice really though they were £470, i bought a set of tyres from a local shop for £400 and then i found the crack in my alloys so i bought the tt comps which the new tyres didnt fit so they offered me a refund of £300 or £400 in store credit. bye bye tyres and hello new suspension i was going to get them in the future this was just sooner that planned

You can't lacquer polished parts, well you can but it won't look good, will look less shiny and start peeling.

Best off covering in plenty of coats of poor boys wheel sealent, and giving them a clean every so often!

Well here you go then pics of the car with weitec rear coilies with the adjusters still in but wound down to the bottom and on the front standard shocks fitted with eibach lowering springs. the wheels are 18" with 35 low profile tyres on.

this is very true mine just clean them up a little and coat them in sealant liek you said
