Hi, so I have 2009. Model 2010. Mk2 and 99% of the time I cannot open the rear door from the outside. Both of them. I have to open them from the inside to be able to open them at all. Anyone know the solution to this?

Take the door card off, drill a small hole in the door lock mechanism near the top, and spray a lubricant in there, wd40 or SAS spray.
I did that to my door years ago and its still fine.

Hi,

Not from the pic sorry, im on my phone and it was a few years ago i did mine, i cant picture what way round it is on the car.

It is very easy though.
When you expose the mechanism, just choose a spot towards the top, and in the middle so you get best coverage.
Just a tiny hole big enough for the straw from the lubricant you use, the liberally spray in there.
The spray will hit the back of the lock and easily spread out enough to cover everything.
You can plug the hole after if you want, i dont think i did.
I think there are youtube videos showing you how to do it, that might be how i learnt about it.
