Rear Wiper staying on..

Guys,

Don’t know if anyone knows how to resolve this but my rear wiper has started staying on after use.

Couple of things I thought it could be are:

1 - Wiper stalk could be faulty
2 - The control unit may be playing up

Any help would be much appreciated

What code will show the error?

Are you sure you are returning the stalk to the off position.

Not being silly here but click forwards for on then click back again for off.

If you are doing this correct and you don't have the reversing comfort wiper activated then You either have a faulty stalk or a faulty relay.

Yea i know what you mean, had the car 2 years now and its only just started doing this.

I think it may be the stalk as on the drive home tonight it just didnt seem to click back as it used to, any ideas of prices for a new stalk? and how do you activate the comfort reverse function?

Comfort rear wiper is a dealer enable thing or a vag-com enable thing.

Basically if your front wipers are on and you hook reverse the rear wiper will go too.

get cruise control fitted while you're on if you're gonna be replacing stalks!!
