Hi all

I'm looking for some new weels for my car, and would love a set of the 18s that come on the LCR. The only problem is they seem to cost a small fortune!

So I was wondering if anyone knows of any decent replicas out there... or ones that look similar for less money? Obviously it would be best if they'll fit on my car!

Cheers

I think the RS4 wheels look fairly similar. Going to be my next upgrade:

Yeah - I quite like those, and may go for them if it comes to it, but tbh I really prefer LCR alloys.

I love the way that the design is really simple, and with the exception of the dished part in the centre, the face of the alloy is totally flat and sort of chunky looking!

Yeah, I'm with you. I've been looking for LCR replicas but haven't found any

Smart

You don't have an LCR matey and therefore no Brembo's

They're what cause wheel clearance issues cos they're so bloody square shouldered. Several wheels won't fit due to this problem

As you have standard calipers, no clearance issues [B)]

Typical! What does go over the Brembos without spacers?

Pretty much a case of suck it and see

Find some wheels you like online, find a place that can fit them near you and ask them to try

I went to R-Tec in St Albans who initially misadvised me on a set but were then pretty good at trying a few other sets from their shop floor

Eventually settled on Golf R32 (Mk1) multispokes, now refurbed in White

LCR's are now my track wheels

There was a list knocking about a while ago of some wheels that would fit but it's probably quite out of date now
