Hi guys I've been having trouble with my seat leon fr mk2 2007,

I go to start the car and as it goes to idle and cuts out, then the glow plug light flashes and it wont start at all and a message saying SAFE appears on the dash.
I had someone from the garage I use have a look at it, he put the diagnostic on it and it was coming back with a immobiliser fault (haven't got the code) so I had the instrument cluster, the ecu and both keys sent of to be tested but they came back fine.
After putting it back together its still doing the same thing, it does some times start and I'll take it round the block and it drives fine then I come back to it the next day and it wont start again.

Any help would be appreciated guys

Yh battery is good tried taking the leads of the battery and leaving it for a hour, but doesn't change anything

Have you read fault codes with VCDS?

Did this get resolved? I'm having the same issue. The ignition ring isn't getting power therefore not recognising the keys. So either its the ignition switch or I've read its the connection going into the ECU which become rusty.
