Seat Leon FR 2.O TFSI 190 mods?

I need some help sourcing some mods for the Seat Leon FR (strictly the 2.0 petrol 2019 model)

All sites with a vehicle picker don't have this engine as an option and I don't want to order anything that isn't compatible. Could someone who has the same car and has installed an induction kit, and other engine mods please link where I can find some good parts?

Thanks in advance

Hi Scry1, i've just made a post about this and have spent a few weeks looking into it.

Looking to replace my intake before remapping.

I've found a APR 5" open filter setup which is for a Polo GTI. On the website it says the polo gti has the EA888 Gen3.b engine (Same as the FR 190, does yours have the MAF sensor on top of the air intake pipe?). I have also found a 7" APR intake system and the seller has said it will fit the engine from the FR190 (MAF sensor on the air intake) but requires a MAF adapter.

Might be worth checking out my recent post for any replies as I am waiting for someone with experience to confirm. (y)

Not sure I see the benefit of this pipe!
The intake will not be a restriction on the 190 - and having an open air filter in the engine bay will only suck hot air! Hot air is less dense than cold air = less power!

Agree with V8 - the 190 has the same airbox setup as the Cupra 310… so even at max remap (circa 260bhp for the 190), you’re nowhere near being restricted by the factory box.
You could do the pikey r600 mod if you wanted, but it’d make no difference

Thanks for the replies guys. I had a Ramair one on my mk5 gti golf and liked the sound more than anything.

Just wanted to spice it up a bit as you put your foot down it's almost silent. Did look at exhaust mods but a lot of garages wouldn't touch it as it's the GPF version. Brands like miltek etc don't make anything for the ST version either.

Have found a highly recommended local garage who will do a stage map for £280 + DSG map for £280 then £100 extra for the rolling road. This will give more power but I wanted more feedback in terms of sound also.

I think it’s fair to say the general consensus on here is for a bit more exhaust noise - res delete (leaves GPF intact) + custom backboxs (only option for non cupra estates)
More turbo noise - turbo muffler delete, new intake if that’s your thing

Ramair do one specifically for the 190

Not sure that intake will fit the EA888 Gen3b engine due to the MAF sensor?

Will get some prices and advise from local exhaust specialists I think as well.

Many thanks for the advice :)

I’d give progressive a ring to confirm (they’re nice folks AND a forum sponsor), but from the pics it looks like yes, you just swap your existing MAF over onto the new elbow
