May i ask if there is a potential risk with upgrading the firmware version on my own? can i harm the system\multimedia?

There is always a risk, but what I was given to understand is that if it is a wrong version, the system will not update...
How to update Seat Arona MIB2 Firmware:
1. Download the update from the link you receive from us
2. Extract the update files using WINRAR or 7ZIP
3. Place the SD into the SD reader and format FAT32
4. Drag the files/folders within the download folder into the root of the SD card
5. Remove SD from SD reader and place in SD1 in infotainment glovebox unit
6. Start engine/(or just switch on ignition if your battery is strong)
7. Hold menu, press “software versions/updates”
8. Press “Update”
9. Press “SD”
10. Press the software version It presents then press start
11. Once update is complete, press back then cancel software version management
12. DO NOT REMOVE THE SD CARD UNTIL THE UNIT IS BACK TO NORMAL OPERATION
13. Once back to normal operation, remove the SD. You’re good to go!
