We are up to November 2023 on this link for mib3 at the top. post 1

The issue with reading these files for me is I can't see the release data YY.MM in the files. I need a bright spark to read the Hex. It's going to be in there, but since I haven't got mib3, I haven't gone out of the way to find how to read it. I through the challenge out from time to time :). Somebody knows how to do it I guess.

I will keep posting them up for people that want to do it this way. Seat often drags it's heels, ditto Skoda. The map files are totally interchangeable between brands. They get identified early before a web page wrapper is put on them.

It took me a while, but I have 24.2 since 29th March 2024. It came as an over the air update some time after I activated the CONNECT App. (Its free subscription expired 3 days ago, and I am not going to extend due to its high price).

Seat Connect prices are really 'strange'? In March 23 a 12 month renewal was £119. March 24 and its £105 for 2 years! (£59 for 1 year)
I renewed for 2 years.

...still stuck at Maps version 20.7 in my late '20 FR and Infotainment version 1940.
Since I cannot -in any possible way- register myself as the Primary User to make use of the Connect App, I guess I need to wait. Got myself an appointment at SEAT in my area, on June 17th to have this (hopefully) resolved...🙏

& you haven't gone dark about giving your details. The off grid people moan about getting updates, you don't if you block it. Probably not that thou.

The thread here is more for people that don't want to pay for connect services but can still update the maps for free twice a year like mib2 on VW and Skoda and Seat but using work arounds previously. Now for mib3, Seat joins the other two. Pass on what Audi do.
