CUPRA confirms UK pricing for new Raval from £23,785

CUPRA has confirmed UK pricing for the new Raval, with the all-electric urban model starting from £23,785 and arriving this summer.

CUPRA has confirmed UK pricing for the new Raval, with the all-electric model starting from £23,785* on the road.

Following its launch earlier this month, the Raval becomes the latest addition to CUPRA’s growing EV line-up and will arrive in the UK this summer. It is being positioned as a more distinctive option in the small electric car market, combining sharp styling, useful technology and a more driver-focused feel than many rivals in the segment.

The Raval will be offered in four trim levels in the UK: Origin, V1, V2 and VZ. It is based on the Volkswagen Group’s new MEB+ platform.

Battery and power options

The entry-level Origin model uses a 37kWh battery and produces 115PS.

V1 and V2 models will be available with two battery options. Buyers can choose either a 37kWh version with 135 PS or a larger 52kWh battery with 210 PS. CUPRA says the bigger battery version offers a range of around 280 miles and can charge from 10 to 80 per cent in as little as 23 minutes.

At the top of the range sits the Raval VZ, which is available exclusively with the 52kWh battery. This version produces 225PS and offers a claimed range of around 250 miles.

“The CUPRA Raval marks a bold new chapter for the brand, and today’s pricing announcement is a pivotal moment in that story. The response since its unveiling has been extraordinary, and with a starting price of £23,785, it brings exciting electric performance within reach of more drivers than ever before. We’re proud to introduce the Raval to UK customers and confident it will challenge expectations and set a new benchmark in the segment.”

VZ brings extra performance focus

The VZ is the most performance-focused version of the new Raval and comes with a number of upgrades to match. These include an electronically limited-slip differential and Dynamic Chassis Control, helping give the range-topper a sharper edge over the rest of the line-up.

With pricing now confirmed, the Raval looks set to be an important model for CUPRA as it expands its electric range and targets buyers seeking something a little more characterful than the average small EV.
