I really like that intercooler if i hadnt got my forge one so cheap i think i would have gone for this setup Looks spot on as you can see the rim of the pipes too... Managed to get any logs yet so we can compare intake temps? How long did it take from start to finish?

thanks lads well i will need to sort out vag com and get a lead but as soon as i do i will post some logs. i had to be a tad brutal to make everything fit. i had to move rad back and cut the bumper back 30mm off the middle bar and the top under the number plate. also had to trim back some of the front frame where the toeing eye is just let me no if you want sum pics of fitting. i welded to plate on to the crash bar to hang the intercooler solid as a rock. i did it over two week ends hung it one day took bout 3 hours the anova 3 hours pipeing anything else anyone want to know

all in all it cost me about £250 its all custom so big saveing compared to thee forge and looks better i think. seems to work well to. i order some samco hose and bought some alloy tube and made it myself

Did you go round the left hand side of the engine bay a la LCR?

bascially i went under the car just behind the intercooler its a bit low to the ground but i could not see another way i will take bumper off and take some pics next weekend and post them

yeah thats me lol yeah i dont use it for work because i get the train to london. just sort of a weekend and evening car really. is yours the black cupra with the mk4 cupra badge on the tail gate. yeah i no rob but i thought it looked cool dont no about yours fitting better tho. did you find out what the garage had to do to your car to make it fit. i fitted mine myself which makes mine better.

no i bought the hose from demond tweeks and got samco hose and got some alloy tube from a local steel company

Mine is the same sort of idead custom done by me with all pipework got it off ebay for bout £100, slight difference in the cooler but you get the point.
