the only thing i have against diesels is the noise!no more chance of turning heads than a van screaming past!also i raced a remapped fabia rs not so long ago and pulled away in std 180.

I cannot believe this post is still in use poor Zan you must be really confused now and unsure what to go 4. Just buy the cupra i love mine to bits the speed, ride, colour and so on is just fab! I know the 150tdi are quick too i was gonna get one but then i drove the cupra and it was just more imo. Had too have it and i dont regret filling her up every week the money has to be spent! Good luck whatever you do.

I'd rather have a car with a REAL engine - petrol !! Stinky John Deere, rep mobiles are not for me ! I don't care for the costs either, I did a quick total up and the costs aren't that much different. (For me anyway, of course this varies from person to person)
Besides a non-standard exhaust sounds better on a petrol too! Autocar have also shown that diesels are smogging up our cities so I'm doing my bit for the environment !
